Steve joins NGN after a 32 year career with Nestle and Nestle Purina North America. For the last 19 years, Steve was the Chief HR Officer at Purina.  His responsibilities covered all people support aspects of Purina’s 10,000 associates as well as all labor relations for Nestle in the US.  Nestlé Purina is recognized as the industry leader in pet foods, is the recipient of multiple Best Places to Work awards and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nestlé SA, the world’s largest food company.

Prior to moving to Purina’s St Louis headquarters in 2004, Steve served as VP of HR Operations at Nestlé USA in Glendale, California, overseeing HR for manufacturing and a variety of other functions.

Steve spent the first part of his career in leadership roles in production, logistics, and industrial engineering in several factories and distribution centers before joining HR. His work prior to Nestlé includes four years as an officer in the U.S. Army, three of those years spent in Germany in a Pershing II Missile Brigade.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from La Salle University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
